Sabina, silver denarius, 129 A.D., wife of Hadrian, Roman Imperial, Sear-3919, R.I.C-398, approx. 18 mm, 3.3 gm. The obverse legend shows "SABINA AVGVSTA HADRIANI AVG. P. P. ", with the diademed and draped bust of Sabina to the right, with hair in a plait down her neck. The reverse shows the legend "CONCORDIA AVG.", with Concordia seated left, holding a patera and leaning left elbow on figure of Spes. No cornucopia under chair. Both sides have nice surfaces, and both sides are shades of aged silver/gray. The portrait of Sabina, and the two figures represented on the reverse still show nice detail.
