Titus As (72 AD, XF/Attractive/Rare in this condition)

Titus AE As (72 AD) in Extra Fine condition with a nice brown & green patina, the reverse has Felicitas standing left. The portrait of Titus is engraved in the finest Flavian style of the period & is well struck & centered on a nice large flan with light smoothing on the obverse. This coin was struck in Rome when Titus was Caesar under his father the Emperor Vespasian. Titus was Emperor from 79-81 AD. A most attractive, historic, & interesting coin plus rare to find in this state of preservation. C.80
