Sestertius of Antoninus Pius. It is in the Forum Romanum, on the Via Sacra, opposite the Regia. The rich bas-reliefs of the frieze under the cornice, of garlanded griffons and candelabri, were often copied from the sixteenth through the nineteenth centuries.
