Coin 4: Caracalla, reverse PONTIF TR P VIIII COS II, Mars left, with shield and spear (RIC 81). 19.80mm, 3.04g. This is an Ancient Roman Denar, made of silver, from the dates 180-192 AD. It has Emperor Commodus on the front, and Ancient God Mars on the reverse. It is ungraded, but is somewhere between Very Fine (VF) and Extremely Fine (EF). It weighs about 2.26 Grams, and has a height of 2 centimeters. It comes with a plastic folded case to protect the coin, along with information about it. This is truly a beautiful piece from the Romans, only 2000 years later we get to appreciate it.

He was actually very into the fighting in the Coliseum, but is widely considered one of the worst emperors of the Roman Empire.
