Constantius II Caesar AE3 Gloria Exercitus Two Standards Nicomedia SMNA RIC191

The obverse bears his laureate, draped and cuirassed portrait right with the legend FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C — Flavius Julius Constantius, Most Noble Caesar. The Mintmark — SMNA. Chosen by Diocletian as the eastern imperial capital in AD 286, it remained a major administrative and military hub under Constantine and his sons.
