Beautiful historical Late Roman Empire. Diocletian (284-305) coin, ND (296-297). The Coin is about 21 mm across, and weighs about 3.1 g. The Obverse features Bust of Diocletian, radiate, draped, facing to the right, and the Lettering reads: IMP C C VAL DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG (Imperator Caesar Diocletianus Pius Felix Augustus - Supreme Commander Caesar Diocletian Pious Successful Emperor). The Reverse depicts Diocletian, draped, cuirassed, standing right, holding parazonium in right hand and receiving Victory on globe from Jupiter; Jupiter, standing left, holding scepter; KΓ between them.
