Constantius II BI Nummus NGC AU Roman Empire 337-361 Sharp Strike ArmyGlory Rev. Full strike with only the slightest hints of wear. The child portrait is full of detail, like clothing and hair characteristics. Lettering is clear and legible on both sides. Fields are smooth and undamaged. Reverse Gloria Exercitus has two well-rendered, armed soldiers flanking standards. Please see photos for views from a variety of angles.

He purged the top-heavy state bureaucracy and attempted to revive traditional Roman religious practices at the expense of Christianity.

A high grade coin. The obverse portrait has exceptionally good detail and conveys a full relief image of the head, almost like a sculpture. The legend is quite clear and the emperor's name is completely readable. The reverse legend is "GLORIA EXERCITUS" and has two soldiers standing with equipment around standards. Also quite clear. The only thing I see that detracts from the appearance is that the billon metal has darkened with age. It is not bright and shiny like a silver coin, but more the color of most very early American cents.
