The Obverse features Bust of Diocletian, radiate, draped, facing to the right, and the Lettering reads: IMP C C VAL DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG (Imperator Caesar Diocletianus Pius Felix Augustus - Supreme Commander Caesar Diocletian Pious Successful Emperor). The Reverse depicts Diocletian, draped, cuirassed, standing right, holding parazonium in right hand and receiving Victory on globe from Jupiter; Jupiter, standing left, holding scepter; KΓ between them.
